About

What coordinated property improvement work includes

Contractor work brings several connected tasks into one project plan. Our scope may include interior painting, exterior painting, cabinet painting or refacing, commercial painting, and carpentry services. The work is not limited to applying paint. We review surfaces, identify repairs, protect nearby areas, and set the order for preparation, coating, cleanup, and final review. That sequence matters when trim, cabinets, walls, doors, or repaired wood meet in the same project. Most projects need a clear decision about scope before work begins. A free consultation and in-home meeting gives us the information needed to prepare an agreement and written estimate.

Process

How we plan and complete the work

1

Consultation and property review

We meet in the home or commercial property to discuss goals, surfaces, repairs, access, and the parts of the project that need coordination.

2

Written scope and estimate

We prepare an agreement and written pricing proposal that identifies the planned painting, carpentry, cabinet, repair, and cleanup work.

3

Protection and surface preparation

We cover surrounding areas, prepare substrates, complete agreed repairs, and set each surface for its planned coating or finish.

4

Application and production

Our crew applies the selected finishes for the agreed interior, exterior, cabinet, commercial, or related improvement work.

5

Final walkthrough

We inspect the completed work with the lead paint crew member, review agreed touch-ups, and address project details before closeout.

What to prepare before the property review

A few details help us build a useful scope for the property and the work you want completed.

  • List the rooms, exterior areas, cabinets, trim, or commercial spaces you want included.
  • Note peeling paint, cracks, damaged wood, stains, or other surface concerns.
  • Gather preferred colors, finish choices, cabinet goals, or reference photos.
  • Identify furniture, equipment, fixtures, and surrounding areas that need protection.
  • Share access details and any scheduling limits that affect the work sequence.

These guys did an awesome job! They have a well trained team that works closely together to get the job done on time and on budget. They also did a number of other repairs on the interior and exterior ( removed dry rot, repair drywall, etc.) before they could even start the painting. I would highly recommend them!

We had been putting off painting our house because there is never a great time to do so. After we decided to do it, we got 6 bids, some where very low, with low grade products, other very high with outrageous considerations, Jeff and his team came dead in the middle with amazing notes from the first visit, careful workmanship and with top of the line quality product. Scheduling was a breeze with Lorena make it so easy for us even with a busy schedule during the summer. The best experience we've had, we basically did not notice the team was working. They arrived every day super early, left the area pristine, and delivered a great quality outcome in the entire exterior job. We are super happy with the pain, the look and all the recommendation and fixes the team did. We will definitely work with 365Painting Solutions for all of our future painting needs. Thank you for making this experience simple and painless.

Questions about coordinated painting and repair work

Who provides contractor painting and related improvement work in Sammamish?

PainterSammishwa.com provides painting and related improvement work in Sammamish. Our services include interior, exterior, cabinet, and commercial painting, plus carpentry. We begin with a free consultation and in-home meeting, then prepare a written scope and pricing proposal. The agreed plan identifies preparation, repairs, protection, application, cleanup, and final review.

What changes the cost of a multi-area painting project?

Project cost changes with surface condition, repair needs, coating areas, cabinet work, access, and the number of related tasks. We review walls, trim, cabinets, exterior surfaces, and carpentry needs during the consultation. The written pricing proposal records the planned scope before work begins, so you can review what the estimate includes.

What should a painting and repair estimate include?

A useful estimate identifies the areas, preparation, repairs, finishes, protection, cleanup, and final review included in the work. We put the planned scope and pricing in writing after the property meeting. That document also helps separate cabinet painting, refacing, carpentry, and coating tasks when several services belong in one project.

Do you prepare surfaces before applying paint?

Surface preparation comes before finish application on our projects. We protect surrounding areas, address agreed repairs, prepare substrates, and set the surface for its planned coating. Peeling paint, cracks, damaged wood, stains, and porous repairs can change the preparation needed. We review those conditions during the property meeting before the scope is finalized.

Can one project include cabinet work and carpentry?

Yes, one planned project can include cabinet painting or refacing and carpentry services. The written scope identifies which surfaces need coating, repair, or cabinet work. We review doors, drawer fronts, trim, wood, and surrounding surfaces before work begins. This helps place repairs and preparation before the finish steps.

How do you protect a home or commercial work area?

Site protection covers surrounding surfaces and keeps the work area organized during production. We protect nearby floors, fixtures, furniture, equipment, and adjacent surfaces as the project requires. Preparation and cleanup remain part of the planned workflow. At closeout, we review the completed areas with the lead paint crew member.

How does your process reduce missed project details?

A written scope, direct communication, and a final walkthrough reduce missed details. We discuss the property during the consultation, record the planned work in an agreement, and keep communication direct through scheduling, production, and final approval. The closing review addresses agreed touch-ups before the project is closed.

Common Mistakes With Contractor

  • Painting over peeling material can trap a weak bond beneath the new coating. We inspect the substrate and remove or repair failing areas before application.
  • Skipping trim or wood repairs can leave cracks and damaged edges visible through fresh paint. We identify agreed carpentry work before the finish stage.
  • Treating cabinets like ordinary walls can produce poor adhesion and uneven wear. We review cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and panels before selecting painting or refacing work.
  • Leaving protection until the end can expose floors, fixtures, furniture, or equipment to dust and coating. We protect surrounding areas before preparation and keep the worksite clean.

Key Points About Contractor

  • The written scope records the planned tasks and pricing before work begins.
  • Surface preparation sets the base for interior, exterior, cabinet, and commercial finishes.
  • Carpentry repairs belong before coating when damaged wood affects the finished surface.
  • Site protection covers nearby surfaces during preparation, application, and cleanup.
  • The final walkthrough reviews agreed details before project closeout.

Scenarios

When Customers Call Us About Contractor

1

Several Rooms Need One Plan

A home may need wall paint, trim repairs, cabinet work, and related carpentry at the same time. The key issue is setting the order before finishes begin, because repairs and surface preparation affect the final coating. We review each area during the in-home meeting, then document the included tasks in a written proposal.

2

Peeling Exterior Surfaces

Peeling paint on siding, trim, doors, or other exterior surfaces can hide damaged substrate or failed preparation. New coating should not cover loose material, so we inspect the surface and identify needed repairs first. A consultation lets us define protection, preparation, coating, and cleanup for the property.

3

Commercial Areas Need Coordination

A commercial property may need painted walls, doors, trim, or repairs across several work areas. Access and protection matter because nearby equipment, fixtures, and customer spaces must stay considered during production. We discuss the property with the client, set the written scope, and review the finished work before closeout.
